Telehealth Therapy Services

What is Telehealth Therapy? Here's How It Works

At Mind Body Connect 360, we offer telehealth therapy for our psychological services in Ashburn, Virginia. Telehealth therapy, also referred to as teletherapy, merges the convenience of modern technology with the personalized care of traditional in-person therapy sessions, granting you access to our psychological services wherever you may be. Teletherapy uses technology to connect you with our therapists on the go, via your desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device. It's ideal for our busy clients who need a flexible way to attend appointments or when distance makes it challenging to attend sessions in person. Teletherapy allows us to connect anywhere with secure and convenient appointments that provide the flexibility needed to effectively balance your work with self-care. You get all the benefits of therapy while sitting on your comfy couch rather than ours!

Mind Body Connect 360's psychotherapists use the HIPAA-compliant software Simple Practice, which means any sensitive health information stays protected and secure. You can have peace of mind knowing that confidentiality is a priority and counseling sessions are never recorded.

Our psychologist, Dr. Lindsey Berjansky is PSYPACT certified and able to offer telehealth therapy services to clients in the following states: Virginia, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

What are the benefits of Telehealth therapy?

Online telehealth therapists increase access to mental health services for those in remote locations, those who are less able to leave their home due to disability or caregiving responsibilities, and provide you with access to therapists with a particular expertise or specialty area you are interested in working with but resides outside of your commuting area.

At Mind Body Connect 360, we appreciate that some clients prefer virtual counseling rather than in-person therapy sessions and our teletherapy counseling services enable us to effectively meet those needs. Our online therapy services allow clients to receive our excellent care even when they cannot visit our Ashburn, VA office.

The benefits of teletherapy counseling sessions:

  • Convenient and flexible. With telehealth therapy, you can fit your treatment around the rest of your busy schedule. This makes it especially helpful for those caring for children, aging parents, or others. It’s easy to schedule a session directly from your phone or computer so you can book an appointment while you’re on the go.

  • Increased client comfort. Telehealth therapy enables you to receive care wherever you feel most relaxed. We want you to feel comfortable during our session and teletherapy allows us to work with you in the privacy of your home or office.

  • Prioritizes your time. At Mind Body Connect 360 we appreciate how busy life can be. Not having to drive to our office and navigate traffic saves you time, making it easier to fit a self-care practice around your other commitments.

  • Continuity of care. Having an online telehealth therapist means you can attend teletherapy sessions on the go while balancing a busy work or travel schedule. It also allows you to continue services while relocating across the country, which is particularly helpful for military families and young adults attending college outside of Northern Virginia. There’s no need to juggle multiple in-person doctor’s appointments, creating more flexibility so that you can better implement an effective self-care regimen and find time to focus on your personal goals. Teletherapy allows you to better make yourself a priority.

We want you to be able to find the right fit no matter where you are. At Mind Body Connect 360, we’re with you whenever and wherever you need us to be.

Our online telehealth therapy system is easy to use, and all sessions are confidential. Upon scheduling an appointment, you will be electronically notified of the set appointment. When it’s your appointment time, click on the link to enter the session.

It’s that simple! The help that you’re looking for really is just a click away.

Having a good fit with your psychologist is one of the most important predictors for having a successful outcome in therapy. At Mind Body Connect 360 we offer a free 30-minute consultation so we can decide together if we’re a good match.

In our consultation session, we’ll touch on why you’re looking into virtual talk therapy, answer any administrative questions that you may have, and what you want to achieve in your online telehealth therapy sessions going forward.
