The World Health Organization (WHO) and The US National Institutes of Health (NIH) both established acupuncture's safety and efficacy for treating a wide range of conditions including; acute and chronic pain, digestive complaints, sleep issues, and emotional and psychological concerns.
While all of our sessions consist of Acupuncture, you can expect to receive any combination of services in a single session such as Electro-stimulation, Cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na and Dietary Recommendations. To get started, our licensed acupuncturist Dr. Bao-Tich Nguyen will conduct a 90-minute comprehensive assessment that will result in a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. In addition to a thorough assessment of your concerns, tongue and pulse diagnosis help to determine the type of treatment and which technique(s) to use during your session. You can expect your first acupuncture treatment to be rolled into your 90-minute initial intake session.

Cupping and Gua Sha
Cupping and gua sha are different forms of myofascial release that are often used to treat pain and acute conditions. Cupping involves placing specialized plastic or glass cups onto an area of skin and creating suction to relax the muscles, improve circulation, and detox the body.
Gua sha is an ancient method of applying pressure and scraping the skin using a massage tool. This technique helps to promote blood circulation, relieve stagnation, and remove excess heat in the body. Gua sha is usually done on the back, shoulders, and neck, but it is not uncommon to receive gua sha on the face, trunk and limbs. Any small tool with a hard, flat, or slightly curved edge can be used to perform gua sha, including a stone, coin, or spoon.
